Back to the Gannets part 2

I thought I would finish the series of images from last month's trip to Bempton Cliffs RSPB on the how I started it; with some Gannets. Below is a varied selection of flight and portrait images of this majestic bird, including an experiment in black and white. I hope you enjoyed the series and if I dont get up there agin this year, I can guarantee Spring next year will see me once again photographing at what is possibly my favourite site in the UK.

I have just got back from a few days in Wales which has included some camera time with a tern colony, Red Kites and some new dragonfly species for me...........new images to appear here soon.

  1. Marvellous pictures Matt, I particularly like number 4, probably for the ruffling of the wing feathers.

    Looking forward to the Red Kites, I see them quite frequently, fortunately.
